Help with lift kit and wheels dont do any offroading
If anybody has any advice on which 3.5 lift kit and tires would be suitable for regular on road driving but still have a mean look to it please help!
Look into flat fenders, it will give you the look of a 3.5"-4" lift without messing with the suspension and allows you to run up to 35" tires with proper bs wheels. The less you do to the suspension the better off you will be on a rig that is a dd.
Try the search, there are several threads with lots of photos with flats.
The goodyear duratrac is one of the highest rated all around tire that has good looks and a comfortable ride. I would stay away from mud terrains on a dd.

Only with flat fenders but it's a nice combo. I have the leveling kit with 34" nittos and they rub the back fenders to the point were they broke a few of my fender clips. Needless to say the fenders flap aeound now. Im upgrading to an aev 2.5 lift soon!
I Just chopped the fenders about a month ago i was running the leveling kit and 35 set up way before that. I have the 18/59 springs on there but your right with a jeep full of shotguns and duck decoys i was knocking fenders off and rubbing my rails. But for everyday driving it was great. Also check out clips and fasteners dot com and they sell the clips for the fenders 8 dollars for 30 clips(pm me if you need a part number).

these rigs look great and you don't have to mess with the suspension at all. plus you can put on flat fenders by yourself with simple hand tools.
