You can just slap it in but it's not going to ride like stock. Rough country tends to be a little rough. But that's how I like it so no big deal for me. You might notice that the steering is going to be more sensitive due to the castor angle.

I can only tell you about my experience, but when I put on my 2.5" RC I found the ride to be softer.

The only thing you will need is some brake line extensions and a set of front sway bar quick disconnects.

I have the RC 2.5" coils and shocks you might want flat fenders if you are running 35s I broke both of my rear fenders from wheeling.

I am going to get a better lift in about 6 months, when I return from Japan. It's good don't get me wrong but I want a 4" lift from TF! Good luck!!!

I put this one on my 2012 2 door when I had it - www.extremeterrain.com/rough-country-325-lift-jk-perf693.html]Rough Country 3.25 in. Lift Kit (07-13 Wrangler JK) PERF693 - Free Shipping over $75![/url]

For a few extra bucks (any maybe less if any of the forum vendors carry it) you could get Everything you need.

When I bought my 2007 JKUR a few weeks ago it already came with the RC 2.5" coil kit w/ 2.2 performance shocks. As far as I can tell there had been no brake extensions installed and there is also no trackbar bracket.

However when I do an extended turn, let's say from a stop signal, I get a deep sounding "clack" when I turn the steering wheel to the right and another "clack" when I turn it back straight. I am not sure where that comes from and what causes it though.

And I forgot to say that I like the stiff ride of the RC 2.5" kit. It is not too rough but reduces body roll and feels quite comfortable a higher speeds.

How could I find out what it is and do you think I can fix this myself?

Look under the front and have someone turn the wheel. See if you can feel, see, or hear where it pops. If you don't have extra hands, I would swing it by a garage and they should be able to tell you. If you are mechanical...yes, you can fix any of the above with the correct tools.
