Default Need OEM locker feedback!

I bought a front OEM locker for my front axle build from someone on craigslist. It arrived today like this....what do you think? I was told it would be in perfect working condition but it looks sketchy to me.....I'm going to try and get a hold of guy today but, judging from the pictures, would you install this?

Before you go to all the trouble of installing make sure that the lock works correctly! And meshes with the teeth most or all the way. With the marks it looks like be tried to open it up, You can not rebuild them! As well you'll need rubi shaft to work with stock lockers.
My locker looked like that minus the damaged bearing ( shipping issues maybe, poor packaging) and some marks on the unit it self.

Pirate, the scratches & dents kinda worry me as well as thinking that it was dropped in shipping and there might be damage to the electro-magnetic actuator. I hooked it up to the battery yesterday and it did push the actuator out but not fully. I filmed it, maybe I'll post today here if I have time. It'd be a real PITA to install only to find out it doesn't work properly. I this point, guess it's a gamble.

Update:
So, I've had some time to bench test the locker. First I took it to a machine shop and had them remove diff side bearings. This allowed me to take the magnetic actuator off and get a good look at the actuator plate. "OEM locker study" thread by forum member RONJENX helped a lot. I rigged up some wire, hooked up to the battery and it worked After researching some more about lockers however, I think I'm just going to go ARB route with the ProRock I intend on getting. Reason being is that there are no parts available for the OEM locker. If the thing does go south, my only option would be to by a new one (these things are like 1800 bucks) or try and find another used one (which has proven to be really difficult). I just keep thinking if I'm going to spend all this money on Prorock, I might as well go ARB. Ah, decisions decisions. Anyhow, thanks to those who gave feedback and thanks to ronjenx for the locker study post, very informative

I had a chance to do some more testing today. Built a quick little cradle for the locker and rigged up a switch for power. Put some clamps on either side to hold actuator in place. Seems like this did the trick and the locker worked flawlessly for many trials. Here's a short little vid of it in action. Hope this helps someone. I just find it interesting....
