Default I need help!

I have an 08 Rubicon and bent the front housing. I bought a Tera flex Hd front housing to replace it with. But after the swap my front locker does nothing. It gets power when you hit button and the light just flashes. I opened it up and made sure its getting power and it is. If i use a flat head and pry the ring over it locks. But otherwise it doesnt make a noise or move or nothing when i hit the switch. I know it worked before the swap because we checked it before we started the swap. I really dont want to replace it when i know it was fine. Any help and ideas to try will be appreciated. Thanks

Check the plunger position.

There is a diagram in post 4 here:

Im pretty sure the plunger is right. If i pull it out some the light stays on or when i pull the ring out it seems to pull out fine with it. However it is a new plunger cause we broke the original one removing the locker the first time.
