Any idea where to buy a needle zerk grease fitting without going internet/mail order? (Cleveland Ohio area)

I think I got one defective needle Zerk with my ball joint upgrade. One work fine, but the ball in the other won't push aside to let the needle in. I tried using several types of grease fittings on my grease gun and none can get grease past the one zerk.

I hate to Order, wait, and pay shipping on such a small/cheap part.

You try a local ma and pop store? If not maybe an axle shop. I'd call around.

 

Quick fix might be to just swap out the fittings and at least be able to grease them both, just one at a time.

 

I had the same problem with my grease zirks on my new control arms. I could not get grease into all of them. I decided to drive it for a few week and try again and they started to hold grease.

 

you take an awl or something to see if you can push the pin in the zerk down? a lot of the time they get stuck and just need to be broken free before trying to pump greasse through them.
