Help me!
Ok fellas I was out in URE and was finishing up a day of riding coming down the mountain when I got hung up on a rock. The jeep sat down on a rock and it pushed the exhaust up into my front drive shaft and tore the boot. I couldn't get enough traction to back off so I had a buddy winch me and I dropped it into 2 high to back off( to avoid damaging the front drive shaft) got down no real problems no strange noise or anything went back into 4 low and went maybe 15' had to reverse a ill to go around a tree and when I went to put it back into 1st gear it wasn't there. The pedal is still stiff and strong the fluids are good but I can move the shifter through all the gears without pushing the clutch pedal and there is no grinding or noise of any kind. My buddies seem to think the clutch is gone but I've never had a clutch go out and it it not grind like hell when u tried to put it in gear I got trailered home and jacked it up up see no problems yet I can put the t case in gear an turn the wheels and drive shafts move as they should I was wondering if anyone has had this problem or heard of it happening. Any advice would be appreciated I am planning on pulling down the tranny and tease ASAP to check it out but would like some insight first thanks in advance
