Default Thieves

So a few weeks ago I bought some grab handles for my girlfriend to get in and out easier, we'll today she went to get in and was like what did you do with your handles? Needless o say I was pretty pissed off. I guess while I was at work last night someone went in my jeep and went through it, at least that's all they took. The sad thing is since that's what they took out of all te things they could have taken then they were probably a jeep owner. Can't trust many people these days. So I guess when I go back to work I'm gonna go around and see if any jeeps got some new grab handles

That's blows.... I know how ya feel.... Last wed I started at a new job site (union construction) so I took the speed line train to philly. Came back after work, opened my tailgate and noticed my lug wrench on the floor and my entire HiLift recovery bag (will all sorts of extra stuff AND my winch controller) was missing! I looked up and saw my back window was unzipped! Luckily for me I made a police report and they found my stuff is not another lot. Musta been scumbag crackheads that realized they can't scrap nylon straps and dropped it in another lot.... With Boston bombing being two days prior, my abandoned bag in a public transit parking lot gathered attention. Bomb squad came and everything, even tho the officer I reported it to recognized it from my description, they couldn't take any chances... I was lucky they found it. Usually other jeepers aren't like that, but some are unfortunately. Another jkf member caught a white jeep on camera pull up and steal his tire cover.... It was a neighbor at that! It Sux being so vulnerable to break ins.......

I'm with ya, pretty sure someone stole one of my rock guards for my bumper KC's. I've had 4 KC's with the guards for over 5 years. They have never come off on or off the trail and my rig used to be a daily driver. I took it to a local shop and was there for about 20 mins. Came out and one out of 4 guards was missing..... I also use a screw driver to tighten down my front and rear shackles on my bumpers. Those tend to go missing as well and at almost $20 a shackle. That's not something I want a thief to take. Jeeper or not, it's just code that you don't mess with another's rig. Well that's the world we live in I guess.....

Theft sucks. I recently had someone also steel my grab handles.

Well and my seats and Tuffy glove and center console and my tires and battery and winch and hi-lift and Jerry cans and catalytic converter and my hard top.

Insurance only covered the stock Jeep all after market items are a lost. They did find it though. After the city gave it a parking ticket without telling the cops they found it.

Count yourself lucky with only missing handles. BTW insure all upgrades else you will get nothing for them if your Jeep is stolen.
