Default Shocks with RK 3.5" kit

What shocks are y'all running with any of the RK 3.5" lift kits? Do you like them? If you did it again, would you go with the same ones or different ones and why?

I'm running Fox IFP shocks and really like them. I would say the vehicle rides just as nice if not a little better than it did stock. If I had to I would do it again.

I'm running 5100s on my RK 3.5". I really like them. I ran Fox with my leveling kit and they were a bit stiffer. I'm happy with my Bilstien.

Bilstein 5100s with my RK 3.5. Yes, I'd do it again. Good shock for the price.

I'd experiment with something new because I'm never satisfied. The 5100s are too harsh for me on road.

And in pretty sure one has a bad leak already but I need to look into it.

I'm also running the 5100's. They're great for the money.

Eventually when I get some other stuff done, I'll upgrade to something with a reservoir. You get what you pay for.

I'm pretty sure that a reservoir is almost totally useless unless you do high speed off road action.

While it won't make any difference if you're rock crawling or driving slow on a trail, it will make a difference on the bumpy fire road on the way to the trail. It will also make a difference if you have a bumpy road on the highway or driving through a construction area.

Many of the trails I wheel on, you have to take a fire road for a while to get to the trail. With basic shocks (Bilstein 5100, Rancho 9000), you will feel all the bumps if you have any speed at all. With a higher end shock, it will be MUCH smoother. This is when the people with expensive shocks are speeding up and the others are slowing down.

Makes sense. Unfortunately, I don't really get to experience wheeling like that in the mid Atlantic.
