Default Where to mease front caster

Can I get pics of good places to measure front caster angle. I know on top of ball joint, but I can not see gauge up there, unless there are diff. ways to do it?

I used a digital angle finder on the flat part at the bottom of the knuckle where its flat.

Placing an angle finder on the axle will not give you a caster reading.
You have to know how the flat spot the instrument is sitting on compares to the "king pin" angle.

This is also where I have been using! But, was wondering how accurate it is, as to the top ball joint.

Someone once told me the best way to figure out where to put an angle finder is to get your jeep aligned at a shop and ask if you can go in to place the angle finder on the axle to find the spit that gives you the same reading. Then you always have a good starting point.
