Default Anyone have experience with the Bestop Super Doors?

I'm satisfied with my Trektop NX.
No leaks so far and I have driven through some serious wet stuff.

Thinking about the soft doors for ease of removal in the warmer months.
The "hard" doors aren't to bad, but they are heavy and I am concerned I will drop one and damage it.

Anyone have experience with these doors?

Do they latch correctly?
Wear on the paint in the door jambs?
Other issues?

Thanks in advance.

Its a love , hate relationship with these doors.
They are loud, leaky and fit like crap.
It only takes a few seconds to toss them in the back when you get off work and be doorless for the ride home though.
Im doorless almost all the time and they just lay there in the back incase I need them. I don't run a back seat so they fit right there. If you do run a back seat they come apart so you can still toss them back there.
I got mine when they first came out for the JK. Maybe they changed the tooling and got them to fit better by now. I had them for my TJ and they fit great, but the ones for my JK I have adjusted and bent in all kinds of ways to get them to fit right and they still don't. I still like them and would buy them again.

This girl gave some feedback on them in another thread. Check posts 6 & 8. Her experience looks similar to what jkdeuce said above.

Pros - Lightweight, 1/2 doors look right on a jk with top down/ can take them with you/ you don't care if the trail or another car hits them/ cuts down on wind tunnel effect with just lowers in/ no door feeling with a place to rest your arm/ even with the doors on you have the open leg space to the left of the steering wheel like you would with no doors/ gives you a reason to bedline your interior

Cons- Noisy, bad fitment, and definitely leak but manangable , need a mirror solution, more effort to close inside and out, plastic can be a little more difficult to see through/ I want to say they are less secure, but if you have a soft top it doesn't matter

In my opinion, I can deal totally deal with the cons. My gf hates them because they are sometimes difficult to close and she thinks they are "stupid". I personally love them. They are not for everyone. they are not family friendly. for a guy like me in his mid 20s who doesn't have kids and is trying to dig life... This is whats up!

I just leave the lowers in and take the uppers off and throw them in the rear until I need them. This is what I absolutely love about them. Takes literally 1 minute to put them back on before you step into your house, and 1 minute to take them both off the next day in case of rain.
