Default Best tire for 18" rims and no lift?

I picked up p a set of 18" rims for my '12 2DR sport. I've got the stock 17" rims and want a more aggressive tire and some height. I don't plan on putting a lift kit in it until the warranty is over.

I was thinking about the Goodyear DuraTracs, and they offer a few sizes in 18". Is that a good tire for a daily driver (mostly highway)?

How big can I go without rubbing?

The Duratrac is a great tire, and since you don't want to lift, I would stick with a 33" .

Very happy with my Duratracs. I'm running the stock Sahara rims that are 18" wheels and went with 275/70/18 Duratracs.

The stock Bridgestone Duelers are good tires. Ride smooth. And quiet. Not the best things in the mud, but they work. I think they are too tame for a lifted Jeep, but stock height and size they are pretty great tires. And you can always find a set of new take offs for next to free.

I've heard that duratrac are good tires.they look tough however I have also heard that they do not last too long.

Well, all tires have cons or bad reviews. But I think getting a set of Duratracs is worth the cons (if there's any).
