Default Rugged Ridge ORV Lift

Has anyone had any experience with this lift. On 4wd and quadratec, these come with 4" coils brackets extensions etc, as well as lower CAs. All for a really good price. Wondering about quality and performance?

Hi,

I bought the Rugged Ridge ORV 4-5" Lift kit from Morris 4x4 3 weeks ago with the Rugged Ridge Drop Pitman Arm and the RR Adjustable rear Driveshaft. I also bought the Yukon Ring & Pinions in 5.13 with the Yukon fitting kits as I intend to run 37in Tyres.

I only started fitting the the ORV kit yesterday because there was spares missing in the lift kit and as I live in UK it took almost 3 weeks to receive the missing bits. I must say fitting the lift kit was ok until trying to fit the front Track Bar bracket. Either the design is really rubbish or I miss something here because the RR new bracket is supposed to fit in the the OE bracket and you just need to drill another hole but the new bracket is too thick or too wide whatever you would call it to fit inside the stock bracket. I am in the process of cutting the stock weld to allow the existing bracket to widen so I can fit the new one in but in my opinion this is bad design to cut the stock welds.
Has anyone else encountered this before me?

Cheers,

Chris
