35's on Stock Rims
Just like the title says, I'll be looking to upgrade to some 35's after this next winter. My jeep has the 17" rubicon wheels. Would a 315/70r17 Duratrac fit on them, or would they be too wide? I'm not planning on any serious rockcrawling, so airing down wouldn't really be too big of an issues.
Also - does anyone know of a tire similar to the duratrac? I love them, have 33's on my jeep currently, but they are quite pricey and working 4 months out of the year because of university doesn't leave a lot of wiggle room. The major point is snow capability, I live in Alberta and live in the mountains during the winter so they have to be excellent in the snow/ice.
Thanks for the input!

I believe there is an entire 'show off' thread of 35's on stock wheels. Lots of people running that setup - with spacers.
If cost is an issues, you can always try some Treadwrights.

Not sure how long it will last, but right now use code FIFTHFREE at treadwright.com and like it says, 5th tire is free.
UPDATE: I checked my invoice, this is good till Labor Day.

I run lifts on both my 2008 JK (2 1/2" Teraflex lift 35" tires,) as well as my (Wife's) 2007 Grand Cherokee (2") budget boost. I have had no issues with either but local name brand tire shops (Discount and NTB) won't service the tires. Take them off and bring them to the store....had no issues since!
