Default Question regarding suspension

New to jeeps. Will rubicon or sahara stock suspension parts fit a 2008 2 door stock height wrangler X? I am not looking to lift my jeep right now, but am looking for better suspension and a more comfortable ride. I love my jeep and how it rides, but when I hit little bumps in roads it seems my jeep over exaggerates the bump and makes it feel like I ran over a speed bump at 50 mph lol. I have a buddy who has a sahara and it is much smoother on the same roads, and his jeep is all stock as well. Or does it even matter at all?

For what you are describing I would think your air pressure may be to high, Your shocks may be bad or you may have smaller tires than your friends Sierra. I believe the Rubicon or Sahara parts will fit but that may not fix your problem. Good luck to you.

Yes you can swap parts from between models. The only difference in the coils is the weight rates. A 2 door soft top will have a softer rate then a 4 door hard top. The shocks on the x model are crap. You might want to look into a old man emu or an adjustable from ranchero, they both have good reputations for a good ride. I would also agree with the tire pressure, most will run run +-28 psi

Thank you for the information. My tires are the standard Goodyear wrangler highway tires with 17" wheels. The psi max is 44 but I keep the around 30 psi. I'm thinking of going with aftermarket shocks and I've heard the Ranchero brand is pretty good.
