Moving the back seat
I have a 08 two door jk and have to put a car seat back there for mine and my wife's new baby and was wondering if anybody knows if there is a way to move the back seat back as far as it could go to allow more room for a car seat
I don't know of any way other than to relocate the brackets in the floor. This is a real safety concern, so I don't know that I would risk the safety of my child with anything other than the factory mounts that have been through extensive testing to ensure they are safe. Also, consider that moving the rear seat back will place you child in a more vulnerable position in the event of a rear end accident, which is more common because it's cause by the other driver and you have no control. It may be time to consider a JKU!

I'm not sure that's a great idea. A little movement from the seat is good since it helps cushion the baby during an impact. Of there's no give at all then a lot more of the energy from an accident will be transferred to the baby...
