Default Rock Hard License plate mount wire for 3rd brake light question

Hey guys... I just installed the Rock Hard License plate mount RH4006 and for the life of me I can't find the wire to tap into the 3rd brake light wire??? Not sure which it could be... It says you must tie into the BRAKE CiRCUIT only NOT the turn signal/brake wire. It says to use the wires from the Passenger side but don't know which is just the Brake Circuit wire.. Any thoughts which wire it could be??

Default I am the Warrior

I have the Warrior license plate relocation bracket with 3rd brake light and plate light. The wire you are looking for is white with a brown trace.

Pull the carpet back in the passenger rear corner of the tub over the subwoofer. It's one of the wires I have circled. You can see where I clipped my yellow wire (from 4 connector trailer plug wires) into it. The yellow wire drops through the tail light cavity and out the bottom then follows the carrier up to the 3rd brake light. The other 3 trailer plug wires are for the plate light, backup camera power and ground.

BTW - I used the ground in the passenger tail light rather than a chassis ground.

iirc, I think I removed that long plastic panel on the inside of the tailgate. Found the wire and cut it and fished it inside the area shown by sahara

I have that exact kit. I went under the passenger tail light and fished it through a hole into the light cavity. I then tapped into the wires that lead into the tail light (brake light too). It works perfectly!

This is the write up I used on my 2012 JK yesterday, worked great took me about an hour and is very clean looking when finished.
