Default Disconecting Sway Bar with stock brake lines

Hello - I installed a set of 18/60 springs and rubicon shocks (2012 take offs) on my 2-door. Also did daystar 3/4" spacer all four corners at time of install. I'd say I got about two inches of lift. I'm going wheeling tomorrow and was thinking about disconnect the front sway bar before hitting the trail. I got a set of teraflex quick discos installed. I haven't got a chance to check the brake lines when disconnected, do you think I'll have a problem with stretching the front brake lines too much? It's going to be mostly mild wheeling. Like to disconnect since I have the quick disco's installed. Any opinions or advice would be great.

thanks!

While I do not have the Daystar 3/4" spacers, I do have 18/59 springs and Rubicon shocks on my 2-door. I have never had any issues with my break-lines and routinely have only 3 wheels on the ground while running disconnected.

U should be just fine like that but if ur still nervous just check them on the trail. If ur by urself start with a small flex and check ur lines, flex a lil more and check again, and do forth. And that will ease ur mind when ur out there. Oyea and......Have fun!

Assuming stock shocks will limit down travel, you should be peachy.

If you have a 2011 or newer, the stock lines are plenty long. Just need to reroute them, as they are routed through the lower shock mounts using a bracket. Disconnect your shock, undo the mount screw, pull the lines out and reroute them, then button it all back up. Can cut the bracket off if you need to, but not necessary.

You can add all the spacers and taller OEM coils you want. With stock length shocks you can't stretch the brake lines. You're not changing the amount of axle droop from stock.

I was pretty sure the stock rubicon shocks would limit the travel and brake lines. Thanks.

I have a 07 with 10-11" shocks. Front brake lines are fine if disco'd from the frame.
