2014 Rubicon or Sport?
Ok so it's time for me to make my final order on my new wrangler.....
I'm planning on pulling the suspension and axles out of the stock jeep to replace with the Evo Double Throwdown lift and the DynaTrac Pro rock 60's(5.13 and ARB air lockers)....
Is there any reason I should fork out the money for a Rubicon if I'm getting rid of everything that makes a Rubicon a Rubicon?
As I understand, in the JK's the suspension, Axles, and Transfer case is the only things that separate the rubicon from the other trims?
Should I just get the Sport and use the money I'd save to get a Atlas II T-case?

Yup, what they said! At that point, you'd be paying $10,000+ just for a sticker that says "Rubicon". You may want to re-examine your need for 5.13 gears with the Pentastar, although you didn't say what tire size you were planning, depending on what your plans are with the rig. 5.13 can be overkill if you do a lot of highway.

If you plan on swapping out the suspension and the axles, why even bother with buying a new JK? Why not find a nice low mileage used vehicle and save a little extra money? Once you swap out the parts your not going to have much left to warranty anyways. With the money you save then swap in an atlas.

Should be perfect.
