Default Jk 08 RIPP intake vs others?

How good is this intake vs others on 07-11 jks? I'm a college student that lives in Corpus so it's a 70% road 40% beach jeep every week. Power and MPG is what I'm looking at for this product, not the sound it makes or doesn't make.

This is my rig as of right now
-2.5 RC lift
-35 BFG ATs
-dual cooling fan
-dyno cat back

Going to a 4.5" lift in mid nov. and power and MPG will be lost which I would like to get somewhat back. ( I plan to get RIPP headers too down the road )

Not much gain if any with just an intake. Best bet would be regear or forced induction to gain back mpg... A programmer works well too and is the least expensive of the options.

If you decide to get an intake, look up AIRAID. They offer a boxed intake that uses the factory intake elbow. Less water risk.

Tuner is your best bang for the buck. Noticeable bottom end improvement and the other options are nice. Just swapped to 4.88 gears and without a tuner, the jeep wont shift right with big tires and swapped gears.

New gears and a tuner will make ur jeep feel more like it was before the lift and large tires. The ripp headers do make a slight improvement. But u can get new gears and a tuner for the same price with much better results
