Default Mickey Thompson ATZ or ProComp Xtreme AT tire?

Guys, I really need your help. I am looking to put 305/65R17s on my 2 door JK. Should I go with Mickey Thomphon ATZs or ProComp Xtreme ATs? I personally like ProComp's better because they have square shoulders. But there are posts saying that ProComp's can be "out of round" i.e. not as good of a quality tire? Provided that lift and backspacing are taken care of i.e. 1.5 Teraflex spring leveling and 17" Rugged Ridge aluminum 9" wide with 4.5" backspacing, what tire should I go with? Can't put higher lift because JK will not fit in garage. Please help.

Out of the two? Procomps. Older tires has wear issues but not the new extreme's. 60,000 mile warranty i believe as well.

Thank you my man! Do you think 305's too wide for 2 door? I've been looking at pictures to the point I see them in my dreams, and sometimes they seem too wide, sometimes they don't. What do you think? Would 295/70R17 be better?

I just put 35x12.5 on my 2 door with 17x9 rims with 4.5" backspace. I went with the mickey thompson tires and love them so far. Only a few hundred miles. I also did a 2.5 budget boost so that May have bought me more room. I think a 305 should fit fine

Also have the Sahara billet silver!! Are you going with 17 or 16" rims now? You should do bigger tires than your planning, you won't regret the looks

I have the mickey ATZs and can speak of their durability. I'm at about 70,000km on them and still going. They are also very quiet on the road.

I don't know anything about the other tire to compare though :/

I am leaning towards buying a set of pro comps. I like that they run a little narrow. I think the 35's are about 10" wide. I'm think this will be better in the winter and less rub issues.

Going with 17x9 wheel, with 4.5" backspace, which is -12mm offset. By the way, the actual width of the wheel is 10". 9" is from inner flange to inner flange, but that's how wheels are advertized, i.e. measuring from inner of the flanges.

Yeah, I hear you about going bigger. I've been debating between 295/70R17 and 305/65R17, which are 33.2" and 32.6" tall respectively, plus or minus depending on manufacturer. Here are some pics I found during my search,
