Default Dragon edition JK

Just curious, does anyone know the story behind this? When I purchased my JKUS I saw the "dragon edition" jk. This thing is covered in Asian style dragons and has a hard tire cover. It was.... Interesting....

Always thought the Asian dragon didn't fit the distinctly American Wrangler. It just looks out of place. Now, if you were to put it on a GTR or something, that'd be different. It looks well-executed, but just doesn't sit well in my mind.

IMO the story is this was dreamed up by the new Fiat owners, and is a clear sign of a disconnect between the people that buy Jeeps and the ones that now make them.

It makes me want to

That's pretty much how I felt when I saw it and even asked my sales woman "what are they thinking?" I could see something like that on an Asian automaker's car, but the all AMERICAN Jeep, that's just nuts and makes no sense. And I apologize to anyone on the forum that may read this and own one. Just don't see it.

It reminds me of a few years ago on the show Miami Ink the guy on there had a black jeep and had it custom painted with an Asian style dragon on the hood...
