Default Found Clunking Noise! Need Help!!

So I've been hearing some horrible clunking noise under my jeep the last couple of days and I decided I was going to find it today. Sure enough I found it!! Please view the pictures and help me remember what that part is called and how hard it is to replace?

If someone has a write up on replacing it that would be awesome. Please help this desperate jeeper!!

We'll i just replaced ball joints. But getting the u joint out will be easier ur gonna have to pull axle. Take caliper and rotor off. Then take the dust shield off then pull out the wheel speed sensor. Then u have a big nut in the center of axle take that off and pull out axle super easy. Then take it to a local brake shop and have them press that one out and put the new one in. Then reinstall. U joint then will be all good.

Dont take of that big nut its not needed if i recall. But it may make it easier, its been a month or 2 since ive had to do it. Definitely use a press much easier.

But be carful with wheel speed sensor pulls straight out but I snapped mine costed me an extra 14.00 not a big deal just when u reinstall axle put it back in slowly as u rotate to prevent damage to inner axle seals.

Thanks for the replies - excuse me if this is a dumb question (not good with axle assembly) but the ujoint is the part inside the flanges or whatever they are called? Doesn't the whole look wallowed out?

Hard to say from the pic, but it looks fine, just missing the ujoint cap. Kinda common, if the cap goes offroading it can take out the shafts and bjs. A new u joint should get you rolling.
