You might do some research on using full-circle clips instead of C-clips on the replacement U-joint, which will reduce the likelihood of those caps spinning off again. Easy mod to do while you're already in there working.

The hole in the outer shaft looks out of round to me. If it is that will need to be replaced.

I replaced the ujoint today. Went smooth, pretty easy! Thanks for all the help guys.
