I swear I posted this in the last two days but no sign of it...

Someone was telling me about these 1" caps that replace the standard shock absorber caps and add 1" in ride height

I've never heard of these before, are they ok?

No such thing for the shocks. Shocks cannot raise the Jeep.
What they may have meant was spring spacers that go on top of the springs to lift the Jeep.

People refer those as a budget boost or coil spacer and is the same thing in a leveling kit. You should be able to find them between 3/4"-3" in height.
