Default Stock upholstery removal?

Long story short my 2011 jeep seats stink and I've searched to no avail. Does anyone have info on completely removing the stock upholstery? I'd like to just take them off and throw them in the wash and would like to know what I'm getting myself into. Thanks.

I think you'll kick yourself if you remove them. Why not just get some nice "made for JK" neoprene or others. Not as cheap as your idea, but way easier.

Did you mean stink, as in smell bad. Or stink, as you don't like them?

I've got the same issue. There are plastic clips attached to the fabric that hook onto the metal frame of the seat. The fabric is also connected to the foam padding.

I managed to unhook the front of the cover, but not the back yet.

I know you are not putting in heated seats but it shows how to remove the front.
