Default Under hood storage

I mounted an ammo can under my locked hood on my CJ-7 to put my wallet when the top was off at the beach. Has anybody made an under hood storage spot on their Jk? It seems so packed under there I have not been able to mount anything.

You're right about it being packed under the hood.
So, why not a bolted-down lock box under the driver's seat?

I have been looking at those but they seem a little visible with the doors off. Which one do you think is best?

I had the underseat when I had my 2007. It a very convenient place and would take a large level of effort to remove.

Tuffy comes to mind. It's visible, but pretty secure.
They also make a lockable steel cover for the storage space under the rear carpet.

Or, you could do what I did:

If it's possible to put two batteries in the hood, an onboard air and a supercharger or turbo, I wonder where all the space came from though. I've seen all these applications(not on my own), but scratch my head on where the space came from.

Nice, I saw that before. Very professionally done. My ammo can was just two simple bolt holes through the inner finder well......ha,ha. You have me thinking about the under seat box again

Room for those things can be made if you need them, but it makes working on anything under the hood pretty difficult.
Storage under the hood was possible back in the day, but these days real estate under the hood is too precious for just storage.

Tuffy also makes a metal console insert and a metal console replacement for 07~10 JK's.
