Hey guys I recently acquired my 2008 JKU 6 speed manual with a 3.5" lift and 35s. The previous owner told me that it had come out of first on him once or twice and within the first week Of owning it its happened to me a couple times. I have used the search engine here and can't find anything really. Has this happened to anyone before and what has resolved this?
Could it be that the 1st gear synchro is going out?

Any body lift on it? When I put a body lift on mine used to pop out. Never did with just suspension lift

 

There was a TSB issued for this.

Ya I just found this thread. For the issue. I'm going to take the shifter boot off ad see if that's the issue not allowing me to go all the way into 1st. Thanks guys

 

No body lift all suspension.
