Default Currie Antirock Install question

Installed front Antirock's today, and must say instructions suck big time. Wanted to ask those who already installed theirs before.

- when the jeep is in the driving height the arms are not perfectly parralel with the ground. Its hard to see the angle on the pictures tha i attached. I measured the links and they are 5.5" long on each side.

- Also assembling links was a pita, do i have link ends connected to anxle right?

Any other tips or suggestions are highly appresiated. Thanks

The links look good to me.

The arms are not suppose to be perfectly parallel to the ground. I believe they're suppose to be at about a 15* incline from the parallel position.

They look fine.

The higher the angle the less body roll you'll get.

I attached two of the best pics I have which isn't going to help much sorry.

Great. Thanks for reply guys. Ronin, from your pictures it looks like mine is in similar angle. Basically, i've read that it might require to cut links if they are too long, so i was worried. Did you guys experienced the left sided link thread not going smooth, i had to force the upper end to screw it in, now they dont come out anymore, hence i was worried i wont be able to cut if they were too long.

Mine threaded on smoothly I hope you didn't cross thread them. One side is normal right hand thread while the other side is left hand thread so that you can make adjustments while the link is attached.

Yeah, i immediately noticed that they are 2 different treaded sides. I played with them before installing, i think it was the only way i could get them in. Side where broze nut goes wondered me the most. I had to use some extra force to get the nut all the way, then it was moving fine, but when installing head part on the same side i tryed screwing all the way, and at some point it got too tight. I tryed reversing and it woudnt come out. Same with the other link. the other side of the links was perfect though.

I'm very disappointed with instructions that currie provides. It took me 4 hours. I had to remove my front bumper. Parts are not labeled for right or left. Doesn't show which goes where at all, i had to guess in everything. I hope i didnt screw up, otherwise it will cost extra money and time to correct it.

It's possible you over tightened the end link damaging the threads. If it's set-up up the way you want you should be fine if not you might need to order some replacement parts from Currie. It's been a while since I installed mine so I'm a little fuzzy on it right now.

Im gonna call currie tomorrow. May be there is a defect with left side thread. I didn't have a problem with normal threaded sides at all whereas other side gave me trouble from the beginning.

Ronin, also after taking it for a high way ride and trying to turn for test purpose i didnt notice any significant body roll, very very very minor. Is it a bad thing or good? may be its because the currie arms seat inclined and not parallel to the ground? Or did i tighten arm nuts too much? Thanks for your help Ronin again, and sorry if i ask too many questions, i just had really high expectations in currie and so far im in doubt.

Hey no worries about asking questions thats what the forum is for, just glad I could help out.

You probably have your rear sway bar still connected which will help limit the amount of body roll you have, thats why you didn't notice a difference. I am running anti-rock front and rear so I notice quite a bit more body roll. I would suggest taking your rear sway bar off and then driving around town to get a feel for it and then you could make adjustments if you like. Honestly looking at the angle of yours thats probably ideal for you, if you run neutral or negative angle you run the risk of the sway bar swinging around and impacting your front bumper if your flexing your suspension drastically.
