rear axle stuck on the pumpkin side
Been beatin on this for a few hrs and it wont come loose I'm trying to install the Rubicon express rear drive shaft....and also trying to figure out what all is supposed to come out of the pumpkin as far as the shaft is concerned

Yours is an '07. Do you have the Dana 35? Or the Dana 44?
I think the Dana 35 has a C-clip on the inboard end. Can't say for sure, though.
There is no clip on the inboard end of the Dana 44 axle shaft. The shaft is retained solely by the outer bearing retainer.
If you have the Dana 44, is it possible you have over stressed the splines, and they are stuck in the side gear splines?

Have the 44 so heres my next question....I have flange adapter that came with the new driveshaft....is that conical piece that the cv joint is attachwd to at the pumpkin supposed to come off so I can put the adapter on?

I thought you were having trouble getting the axle shaft out.

It was my misinterpretation.
So, you pulled the 8 bolts from the cv joint, and the drive shaft will not drop down?
If you do have the drive shaft out, and the pinion nut off, the cv plate may require a puller to get it off the pinion splines.

No sir I have the transfer side off and am trying to pull out the differential side of the rear drive shaft...it will not budge and this is my first jeep so I am trying not to screw anything up....I have been using the BFH technique but its not working...
