305/70R17 Goodyears
I know tire questions are everywhere, but I feel this is unique enough to be asked. I have a 2013 JKU Sport S with 1" leveling spacers in the front, Rubicon Rails (will trim or exchange for LODs), and was wondering if 305/70R17 Wrangler MT/Rs will fit with or without the fenders being trimmed. They will be on stock rims for now and 1.5" wheel spacers. The tires measure to just over 12" wide and 34" tall. This seems like a good phase 1 for tires, while I beef up axles and add bumpers and what not. What do you guys think? Thanks!
You should be fine because of your spacers. When you get them mounted and on the jeep then you can measure their true size. They will probably sit at a little less than 33in when on. I have 305s on my 4 door no lift or spacers but my wheels have a 5 backspace.

If you have any trimming to do it would be minor. I didn't have trim anything on mine. Hope this helps.

It looks like you have 20" wheels, what is the profile on your 305s? 55?
I'm not worried so much about the width, more like the height while flexing. I was thinking with trimmed fenders, it would be close, but should work and look very nice.

be sure to post after pics and thoughts/opinions. casue I am wrestling with the same thing...sort of. I found a killer deal on 35x12.5 MTZs (they don't make 34s (305/70r17)). but I am wussing out over whether i'll be happy with perfomrance loss & mpg and maybe should do 305/70r17 GY MTR-Ks...for what is the diff between 34.1 & 34.6 per manufacture's website (measure unloaded on wheel)

So I put them on this morning, and they look great. I will definitely have to trim the airdam and fenders though. Took it through some whoops at 40 mph and heard some rubbing in the rear, so fenders will be cut this weekend. Tire will not fit on the stock rear mount, so saving for a bumper/tire carrier next. Here is a couple of pics until I get more done this weekend.

I'll post some pics and my findings when I get them next week.
