Default 15" rim with ruff stuff tie rod?

So I have ordered the ruff stuff tie rod kit and it was suppose to show up today. But I have came across a great deal on a barely used set of 5 tires for a 15" rim. I have 17" pro comps on now not sure what the back spacing is though. I've read that the tie rod works with some 16" rims with the right back spacing but my question is does anyone have or know if a 15" rim will work without a wheel spacer?

Heard it can be tight. I went with a synergy hd tie rod today and was worried about it fitting my 16's. Lots of room and i could probably do a 15'.

Ok thanks guess I'm going to have to keep searching for people that have done or just test it out and see what happens

I was running 15's with 3.75" back spacing and am currently running the ruff stuff tie rod with 17's. I can tell you there is no way it would fit behind 15's unless you had about 1" backspacing. People have been having luck fitting the synergy rod ends though

Yup, I run a Synergy TR with 15s. I know it doesn't really help your situation though.

I think I'm going to stick with the 17s for now and if I find a deal on tires for 16" rims then I'll go that route, thanks for the help!
