Default Eibach front leveling springs

Hi all. I just received my Eibach front only leveling springs from Quadratec and plan on installing them tomorrow. I'm not going to do a full blown how-to, I'm sure there are plenty of spring install write ups out there.

I plan to take pics and measurement compared to the stock Rubicon springs and post them. I just wanted to see if anyone has any other (relatively easy) info requests before I install them. There isn't a whole lot of info that I could find on these, so I'd like to contribute whatever I can.

I will be interested in what lift the front gets with just the eibach springs.

Me too. The spec is 1.7" on a 2 door, which is what I have. I'm hoping for 2".

I'll do before and after measurements and post them.

If the spec is 1.7" I would throw a 1/2" spacer on it while you have it apart.

Measured pre-lift as shown, my clearance to the fender was 12" on the passenger side, 11 7/8" on the drivers side.

Post lift measurements are 13 3/4" on passenger side and 13 5/8 on the driver side. This was taken after a short 3 mile drive to settle everything in.

The actual spring length for my stock Rubi springs was 17 inches, the Eibach are 18 1/2. Wire diameter for the Eibach was slightly larger, with the stock spring being 13.25 mm and Eibach being 13.40 mm.

So, it looks like the Eibachs did exactly what they were supposed to do!

I'll post later on ride quality, but based on my short ride, they were a little more firm.

One question. The spring are slightly bowed to the outside of the jeep on both sides, anything to worry about?

I've been rolling on these for five days now and they've both settled to 1.5 inches of lift. The ride is ever so slightly more firm, but with much less brake dive. For 110 bucks, call me happy.

Just for lift. I wanted to get rid of the factory lean.

Did you have to get longer swaybar links? I was considering purchasing the Eibach leveling kit with front and rear springs but I'm reluctant with the lack of data out there.

You said they have settled a quarter inch five days after install, I'd be interested to hear what it is after a month.

Thanks for the post.
