Default Safari Straps cargo net a bit short

Not too happy with the Safari Straps cargo net. Seems a bit short with a big gap at the tailgate. Anyone feel the same? Fits well in the up position and is high quality material.

Seems like the pictures on their site show that gap. I have their straps for the rear and sides and love them. I'm not sure what the point of the rear cover is if it's so short.

You can see in the picture it doesn't go beyond the factory sub.

What is the point of a rear cargo net that doesn't cover the entire cargo area?

No it's the 4dr. Putting in a call on Monday, guess I'll put the money in on the set that goes over the rear bars and comes with the side windows. But, I need them for next weekend GTD.

I took the advice of sand scorpion and made my own. It is much cheaper and really easy. I made mine to divide cargo an passenger area. Here's a pic of mine. Search for sand scorpions thread. It s really good information.

it looks like the gap is for when the top is down so it won't rest on the straps? just a thought. poor design for a Jeep with a hard top or a soft top that never comes down.
