Default Knuckles - Horizontal Tire Carrier

Who would be interested in something like this?

http://media-cache-ak0.pinimg.com/or...b1aa3cb9c2.jpg

It's currently a proto-type...
but they are looking to put them into production with enough interest...

It looks cool but it won't be a good seller , you lose hard top , soft top and slant tops so the only thing you can run is what's in that picture

And knowing knuckles it will be expensive as hell

Looks cool but the functionality of it is not there. When changing the tire am i supposed to stand on top of the bumper and try to un mount a 40inch tire horizontally (not that i have a 40inch tire but some do) ?

Those prices though

it will definitely be unique.
i plan on running it with the ORH cargo top.

hopefully, they make a few here shortly...

the good thing is...it's interchangeable.
you can go back and forth between the three set ups relatively easy (as long as you can lift your tire).

Horizontally to be exact. When its vertical it takes way less effort to mount and un mount the tire.

So it's the same bumper they use now just with a different tire mount , I give them props for that

exactly.

same bumper/tire carrier.
and three different mounts (eventually, if they start producing the horizontal version).

but it is an expensive setup.

It greatly improves departure angle over a vertically mounted tire, and for that reason, I like it.
