Default What Gears Do I have?

Hello fellow Jeepers! I bought my Jeep Wrangler Unlimited Sport (automatic) from a studio that used the Jeep for a movie and threw on an ARB front bumper, xrc winch, KM 33 inch tires, and Pacer wheels. When I had just bought the Jeep the mpg was horrible and it always ran on high rpm. I recently added a rear bumper and tire carrier and it seems like my Jeep runs much better and for some reason my mpg has increased. Maybe my gears were changed and the previous owner never told me? I have searched for threads on how to find out what gears I have but I can not find accurate instructions. Does anyone know what I exactly have to do to find the accurate gears?

Some folks will tell you to query Jeep with your VIN number. But, that' won't let you know if someone has regeared it. The best way is to rotate a tire and count how many times the driveshaft spins. Here's a video on the process--shouldn't take but five or ten minutes to do.

Yep. That's the answer to be sure.

You better watch where you're going and remember where you been.

Just and educated guess since you said it was used for a movie, the gears wouldn't have been changed from stock. But the video above is the only way to know for sure what you have.
