It looks cool, and I'll bet it's ready to go, right out of the box.

I don't know that I see $24k worth of parts and labor beyond stock, however.

Lift/wheels/tires
Fenders
Front and rear bumpers
Tire Carrier
Winch
Rocker armor/steps
Roof rack
Light bar and rack lighting

...what am I missing?

Not even top-tier parts.

The spare needs more tire shine.

Supposedly it has also been regeared for the 37's. The salesperson I talked with said all of the work/installation was done in house and the shop rate was about $100 an hour. The technicians made a killing on this one!

$100/hr doesn't seem unbelievable. That's about what I'd expect for a dealer or specialty shop mechanical labor rate, at least near a big city/major area. I wonder how many hours they have into it, though.

Even with labor, and maybe adding a little extra if the dealer techs hadn't done a build before, there still seems to be a lot of "value add" in that markup. Not for me, but someone will have a nice built up toy right out of the box if that's what they want.

And yeah, looking at the tire shine involved on that rear tire makes me cry for the salmon! lol

Edit: 1,000 posts! Woohoo!!!

A dealer near me does this to Jeeps calls it a mercenary and people buy them up. Funny thing is some people around here think it's a factory option. Crazy mark ups too anywhere from $8-15K on top of the price.
