Default Tires + Lift

I'm currently running 33's on my jeep. At Moab yesterday I managed to get hung up on a rock and decided it was time for an upgrade. I want to put a 3 inch lift under it. Can I fit 35's under that lift? Also, with the larger tires like that, would I have to upgrade anything else or could I run them without messing with the axles and whatnot?

Agree, but make sure you run enough back space on the wheels to avoid rubbing the tires. You want 4.5" or less, so either get new wheels or use spacers. I run 37s on 2.5" of lift, you'll be golden.

No matter how much lift or how bit the tires there is going to be a rock out there to get hung up on.

3" on 35's
You can swing by Twisted Jeep across from City Market and see a lot of Rancho equipped Jeeps that are on the trail every day.
