Default lets talk brief/bikini tops

i am buying an 08 jk 2 door with a hard top. my plan is to buy a brief/bikini top for it immediately because i plan to run with out the top and doors most of the time. i want the shade of a top because this is going to be my dd. i just dont know what top to buy.i have had multiple older jeeps in the past and we have always used bestop stuff. should i stick to that? what other options do i have? im looking for something that will last a long time and wont flap in the wind much.

Does it have the 3 piece Freedom top? You could remove the main piece and reinstall the two front pieces if you're not going with mesh.

Google custom jeep JK screen tops and screen bikini see what's out there. There are many options, some better than others.

Are you just looking for shade or do you want to keep some rain off your head ?

I'm looking to keep the rain and shade off my head with the storage pockets. Which one is that?

If you're looking for protection from the elements, then stick with Bestop. Be aware that you'll need to pick up a set of door surrounds to make it fit tight. You could also add a deck cover and wind jammer to the setup for more weather protection.

But if you're just looking for shade from the sun, then get a spiderwebshade and be done with it. I've had both, and the spiderwebshade was probably one of the best purchases I've made for the jeep.

First off I hate the fact that I am not automatically subscribed to a thread!

2nd off I need a little protection form the elements in case it get caught in some bad weather but it doesn't have to seal up great.
