Looks a bit over inflated, maybe, but the wear pattern (chauk) looks pretty good. What psi are you running?

When i first got home i aired down to 28 PSI and did a chalk test then. After those results i aired down to 25-26 PSI. My air gauge now says its 22 PSI (COLD) and i'm kinda afraid to go down more than that for street use ( I will double check using 2 air gauges to confirm this ). From what i've been reading a lot of guys run 26 PSI with the rim width and tire size i am running.

I understand weight will play a factor in this as well. With that being said i don't have the back seat in and the only additional weight is the bumpers.

From the looks of the specs on your tire and chalk test, it looks like you're in the ballpark. I know 22psi sounds low, but each of your tires can handle 3195 lbs each (total 12,780)which is much more than your jeep weighs. That's at max pressure. Since your Jeep is light, compared to most others, you should also have low pressure (like you do) to compensate. Bear in mind that your tires are also E rated. Those are very stiff sidewalls. Also the pressure, when warmed up, will go up a few lbs. I run 37" tires and am about 23lbs... but I believe I can go lower (They're rated at 4300lbs each).

Ok that makes me feel a lot better about running 22 PSI then. I know everyone has said go by the chalk test results and everyones may vary. I just haven't heard of anyone down to 22 PSI Cold until today ( your 23 PSI so thats close ). I was just so use to having a truck and running mud grapplers so my PSI was always 35. I will double check the PSI with 2 different gauges and also throw in my back seat to help add some weight to the Jeep so i don't have to air down anymore. I know it will help when i get my spare tire mounted up on the back as its currently off at the moment.

Thanks for your help guys i appreciate it. I guess that also means i need to buy more parts for the Jeep to add a little weight to her. Lets see how that goes over with the wife haha.
