Default Bully Dog GT 40440 Not Fully Compatible W/2012-14

After recently purchasing the GT 40440 for Jeep by Bully Dog I programed my jeep with every parameter I could think would need tweaking. That was I thought so any way. I have upgraded to 37in Goodyear MT/R and changed gearing to 5.13s. I noticed lag in shifting when taking off up hill under normal conditions. The transmission wouldn't shift unless I feathered the throttle. I went through several trials and errors with adjusting tire size to try and compensate. With no luck I contacted Bully Dog to ask about adjusting shift points. Bully Dog claims to be able to adjust with the newest update. Well at least thats what I was told until I informed them that my Jeep has a 3.6ltr. They informed me that this programing feature was not available for this engine. I asked if they would be coming out with an update for my year and they told me they don't know. I'm not really sure what the engine has to do with re mapping the transmission shift points, perhaps something to do the the ECM programing. If your looking to purchase a programer for your 2012-14 Jeep Wrangler JK steer clear of the bully dog unless you plan on keeping your project around 35 inch tires or below. I do not recommend this product to someone who plans to purchase or owns a 2012-14. Whoever they do offer this feature for those who own the 3.8ltr. version of the JK. Hope this helps in anyones decision on a programer.
