I have it and it works as advertised. I have to admit, if I had the cash I would change out the whole system to something I could actually hear.

something you could actually hear? Please elaborate. The radio? Satellite? Movies? DVDs?

It is great for movies and cameras, but the stock system is still very limited as opposed to an aftermarket head unit now days that can stream music with pandora, play movies and connect to your phone and display texts and such. Plus you can't even hear the stock infinity system with the top off.

What system do you have? I have the 730n RHR. I honestly haven't seen or heard this even after searching many google listings.

I have the lock pick. It's cool if you want to stay all stock. I like that it has multiple camera attachments. I plan to rig them all up eventually. It works really good and it's simple to install and use.

For the $ you can spend a little more and get a nice Pioneer.

Bump. Looking for more responses.
I'm not planning on changing/adding speakers or amp. Looking for usability without compromise to the current system. I agree swapping the unit out all together might be the best option for a few more bennies. Looking into that as well.

just checked the pioneer system. Not doing that. Navteq sucks. If anything, might go with the kenwood if I swap out the unit. But, I don't plan on ending $1k either. Unless I could unload my current unit for some coin.

I have a 730 RHR head unit and am running the Lockpick CHR550. I find that it works very well at what it's intended for, which is allowing video in motion, the ability to input address data into your GPS, and clean, plug and play integration of video cameras.

I've had mine for about a year and a half and it works great. Let me know if you'd like any additional specifics about the Lockpick, it's use, or it's installation.

I've had several pioneers, and no Navteq isn't perfect, but neither is Garmin. I know for a fact the pioneer units are much faster than the mygig and Navteq finds it's way around Dallas better and quicker than Garmin.

On a side note My Mygig in my 2014 Grand Cherokee misses turns all the time.

I like the instant boot and faster rear cam availability of the stock mygig.

What else do you want to know about the Lockpick. I've had this particular one in three different JKs and had a Lockpick on almost all my vehicles for years. I currently also have one on my Superdutys MFT Sync.

Thanks
