i love my 14 jkur, if half that stuff they want to do to the 17 happens it will be a turd that only soccor moms drive.

 

Think someone should tell these people that the 3.0 deisel is highly requested by the jeep community and would be a smart move by jeep

 

around here diesel costs a solid 50% more then gas per gallon, and in the winter you have to keep changing the grade you use so it doesnt gel in the tank, and sometimes the anti gelling stuff will freeze when it gets cold enough if you dont leave it running 24 7.

diesel isnt always the answer! but i wouldnt mind a big ass hemi

I want it to be boxy, looks cooler, easier to pack stuff for overlanding etc. I want it to look like a rough military vehicle with flat color. I am afraid it will look soft like sportcar, with only smurfcolors. I miss the military heritage

 

If it aint boxy it will not be a Wrangler any more, it will look like al other city suvs and not so much point to buy it if you dont rockcrawl

 

Rock crawling is not the only reason to buy a wrangler. They are made for off-roading. Rock crawling is only a part of that.

 

I know I bought mine for camping/overlanding and for the looks. If the looks aint there and it looks like other suvs, I might bought another vehicle or a 4x4 pickup with much better payload. Very few go really offroad in a Wrangler, most go for the cool look and might drive on gravel roads. If the destroy the look the wrangler will not be so intresting anymore for me.

I like the military style 4x4 like Wrangler and Landrover Defender and gelandewagen

 

Too much speculation here. If you really research the issue, it looks like a frame and solid axles will stay.

 

Not sure you're speculation is any better than other speculation, as the only research is well; speculation.

All sources seem to agree that it will go on a decent diet, they also agree the easiest way is the loss of solid axles.
