Default Smittybilt Atlas Rear Bumper with Bushwacker Flat Flares & RH License Plate Relo

I am getting ready to install a Smittybilt XRC Atlas Rear Bumper Tire Carrier this weekend. Had MAJOR issues with the Smittbilt XRC rear bumper tire carrier handle opening due to wear on the mounting plate on bumper where latch engaged on two separate bumpers. Smittybilt upgraded me to the Atlas for $100 so I am going to see if this bumper is any better and more importantly will not open when off or on road. I am also going to install the Rockhard License Plate Relocation Kit and ORO Liteplate set up. I currently have Bushwacker Flat Flares. Anyone installed this bumper with the flat flares? If so can you post a pic of it installed? I am also looking for wire mount suggestions for the ORO Liteplate wiring which I will be running under the right rear tail lamp access. I already have the wiring figured out from another post, but looking for suggestions on running/hiding/attaching wiring on the outside or better yet inside of bumper frame. Ideas and pics would be very helpful!

They were 37x13.5x17. I sold them with 33000 miles on them for $600 with 40% remaining tread. I recently bought Trail Grapplers 37x12.5x17 and could not be happier. I increased around 1.5 MPG and the noise level went from B-2 bomber to very minimal.

I've been really going back and forth for awhile now and obsessing over tires and rims, I bought it with 37 toyos on it with a 4" lift, they rub a bit in the front at full turn, what offset do you have and back spacing on your fuel rims? And did you rub with your mud compared 12.50 trail?

Have the 17x9 Fuel Boost with deep lip and they have 5" BS. I did rub the frame rail slightly with the 13.5 tires, but not with the 12.5.

Purchased initial bumper in 9/2012 and they replaced it early Summer 2013. That one started going bad within a few months. 22 months since initial purchase. They have not fixed the latch mechanism on the XRC yet so rather than go through another bumper change to face the same problem they let me upgrade. Will see how it goes. I have a bicycle strap holding the handle to the d-ring which keeps it closed, but is a PITA to take on and off.

Did you do it all over the phone or did you have to take it somewhere?
