skid plate question
Anyone running the rough country skid plate that replaces the factory air dam? I know people like to hate on rc but a skid plate is a skid plate, and the price is right. Id like to see pictures if anyone has one, thanks!

Most people just remove the front air dam. Unless you have a Rubicon and want to protect the e-disco, it just gets in the way. Especially off-road.

I have the front and muffler rough country skids. Solid steel, heavy duty and easy to install. I also shot the front cross bar with silver paint to match the jeep and give it a little accent.

I have a mopar skid up front to protect my disco motor but I have Rough Country gas tank skid and it is excellent quality USA made and I can tell you it supports the entire weight of my 4 door on big rocks without denting.

Is that skid specific to their bumpers, or would it work with a variety of bumpers? Looking at it on line it looks like it would tuck behind the bumper and therefore have a chance at working with other aftermarket bumpers, but I couldn't really tell, and I haven't seen anything saying yes or no in my search.
