Default level with me about sector shaft braces

So after a 2 years of wheeling my steering seems to be getting sloppy. I'm retightening my pitman arm to the sector shaft every other week and after every wheeling trip. My only thought is the force of turning big tires has taken it's toll and it's wearing out. I'm curious if anyone out there put on on and it helped tighten things up. I'm looking at the synergy brace but the evo one looks nice as well.

Any input is appreciated

The brace is nice, but doesn't solve your problem. Get a new pitman arm nut. Use loctite. And torque to at least 200 ft lbs. Should be good to go.

I'm a fan of bracing it though. I particularly like the Rock Solid Performance one. Clean and works with most suspension kits. You'll have tighter steering just by adding it. Still do the above though.

I plan on a new nut and loc tite when I do the brace. I will look at the rock solid one, I don't think I've seen it yet thanks.

Been thinking about adding the jks brace kit myself, is it worth the money. Also what's the benefits?

What size tires? Hydro Assist might be a better option.

37" tires and I'd love to do hydro assist but it's not something I can swing right now $$ wise. Also as of now I've not needed it but I've also not got my locker hooked up in the front either.

I figure I'm looking at around 700-800$ for hydro where I can do this with the trackbar brace for 200$ I also did a small bit of body dmg so any money I can save will go to fixing that up the best I can lol.

I've got Synergy's setup. After I broke a sector shaft at the Hammers (Story found Here), I figured the system needs some help.

Since installing it, my steering has taking big hits and held together so far. The nut on my sector shaft for the brace will loosen after a big hit. I've replaced it, loctited, torqued it to the moon, etc. I put a mark on it and keep an eye on it. For my rig, I like the simplicity of the brace over hydro assist, but in the end I'll end up having to do something to turn a larger tire with low backspacing.

I'll be going to order a synergy track bar as well as a sector and tb brace today after work. I'm still using the factory tb. Also noticed once I got it cleaned my tierod is visibly bent. Not a good weekend for my steering lol.

Running 37's hit a boulder coming off an obstacle that I did not see.

Finding a steering box on Saturday afternoon = NOT FUN.
