Default trying to order willys

The sales manager can't order the 2 door willys I want, because his order form on the computer from chrysler is not allowing him to click on the 430 radio option. Is there a back order on the 430 that anyone knows about.

If the dealership told you that, it's probably a lie. They hate doing custom orders. They'd rather get you attached to something they have.

Not sure about the US, but 2015 Willy's aren't available for ordering up here yet. That being said, there are no current restriction on Uconnect 430 at the moment (restrictions are universal).

Try calling a different dealer, while it is true that a dealer would prefer to sell inventory over f/o, they wouldn't let you walk over it. Since Willy's are usually an order item anyway, it doesn't make sense that they would imply the 430 was unavailable to push you into something else. I'd try a different dealer.

Thanks for the reply. This Willys will be a replacement for my 2014 Rubicon that they couldn't stop leaking rain on passenger side floor after 7 tries. I'm going with the Willys because it doesn't have the speaker in the floor. I had the 730n in the Rubicon and the way the swap/buyback works is that they will only approve a difference in price of about 3700 so I almost have to order the 430.

Why are you giving up so soon. My 11 they tried to fix 18 times. Yup 18. I hate to burst your bubble, but chances are that a 15 will leak too.

I'm not trying to be a jerk. Just I went through the same head ache. A huge number of JKs leak. I contemplated getting rid of mine, but didn't want to loose my shirt just to get a new one that may or may not leak.

If you like your 14 rubicon, I'd keep it.

I ended up buying these drip diverters for $50 and they stopped the leak. Even though that not what they are intended for.

Whats leaking, the top or the window? Might just need new rubber strips if its the top, if its the window get a set of stick on diverters, then you can leave your windows down an inch in summer for cooling without rain getting in.
