Order Question - VON
Hi All -
Quick question as I work through my 2015 JKURHR order. I placed an order last week and still have not gotten an email from Jeep. When I ask for the VON i get a very vague response. Couple questions -
1) Should I get an email from Jeep the moment the order is entered, or is it only when the dealer has an allocation?
2) Is a VON assigned even if the dealer does not have an allocation?
3) The dealer says it may be "a couple weeks" before I get an email from jeep, even though they claim to have placed the order
Any advice is very much appreciated. I've been less than pleased with the dealer's communication.

I'm in the same boat - ordered a JKURHR on Halloween, and it's in D status (purgatory essentially) with no estimated ship date/build date.
Apparently Chrysler's VOTS (order tracking system) is down at the moment with no end in sight. Don't expect ANY emails from corporate. Your only hope is to bug your dealer to check status on their system. Once you get assigned a VIN/VON, then you can call 888-IAMJEEP daily to check the status.

When I ordered my JK it took awhile to update in their system. Patience is key.

Well, eventually it will be modified ;-) Sorry to be such a Noob - my mistake. mods, please move if possible.
When you order, your order is places in BX- good order waiting to be picked up. Once it goes from BX it goes to D, this is where your VON is assigned. At D1, you get a VIN and an estimated shipping date is assigned.
