Default HF winch sale

Hi all,

Just saw that HF has their winches on sale
12k is 399
Seems like a good price and the online reviews seem to state its a good winch for the money

I'd look at an Engo 10k with synthetic line. Maybe $50 more, but a solid winch with a lot of owners.

I will take a look at that, thanks I just found a thread that said these HF winches are actually rebranded for HF Does anyone know if that is true and who actually makes them?

Edit: thread went on to say
Harbor freight winch is the same winch as engo and bulldog but I have no idea if that's actually true?

Most 12000# winches are made in China by the same group of companies. You might recognize yours here:

Winch 12000, China Winch 12000, Winch 12000 Manufacturers, China Winch 12000 catalog

That winch does go on sale for $299. I wouldn't pay more than that for it.

I believe the winch is still made by mile marker. It does actually get a pretty good rating and is probably the best buy for a winch.

I have this 12k Badland winch on our 7500lb+ Bronco. 1/ great reviews, great price ; 2/ works like a charm ; 3/ the wiring instructions are confusing but a winch is easy enough to figure out (ill post more if u buy the winch, I do recommend it) ; 4/ there's no harm in having extra pulling power but 12k is overkill, we have a 9k Warn on the JK.
