Default rubicon express lift

I'm thinking about buying the rubicon express standard 2.5'' lift with mono shocks to fit 35'' tires any pros and cons on the lift

What all comes in the kit ? Does it come with brake line drop brackets, new sway bar links front and rear,
Bump stops, you'll want to get a set of either Rancho or AEV Geo correction Brackets for front
Control arms to help with castor correction for drivability ...

RE has their own geometry brackets too now, as well as quick disco links.

I bought this kit but ran fox shocks, it rode a little stiff. I had no issues. It came with brake line brackets and cam bolts to adjust castor. It didn't even really need those though. 2.5" kits are pretty basic. Its a good price and you will be happy

I would save up the little extra, and get the teraflex. Customer service and well built parts are a big plus.

That's my set up, no complaints. For daily driving and general dicking off its a decent set up. Now if you are gonna do more serious off roading I'd save up. I plan to upgrayedd soon, because I spend a lot of time out playing. If you only want to clear 35s there are cheaper options that will achieve that

It comes with longer links for the back, a rear track bar relocation bracket, and a castor adjustment, and bump stops.

Its a basic kit and should be fine if it fits your need for clearance of bigger tires. I would not install the cam bolts to adjust the caster and would look into some adjustable lower control arms or some drop brackets if you feel the steering is too light. I don't see any reason to choose teraflex over this kit unless you are just a fanboy of teraflex. Both kits would be made in china. What are you planning to do with shocks? Running this kit with the factory shocks and no extensions will result in a jeep that has 2.5" less articulation then the stock suspension.

Sorry, missed the mono shocks note but would not use RE shocks.

Almost like deja vu. Do a quick search for username Txlineguy . He has a thread from just a week ago or so with some pics of his brand new RE 2.5" lift, and a few comments from the peanut gallery.
