Default FT vs TF 4" LA Kit

I'm just wondering,....

There doesn't seem to be much enthusiasm for the TF kit compared to the FT kit. I totally understand that many of the guys running the forum/site use FT stuff and love it. But are there many TF fans out there?

Any strong feelings about either?

Apple to oranges...kinda. The FT kit is completely bolt-on. The TF kit requires cutting off the factory brackets and welding new ones on. That is likely the major difference. Both come in 4" and 6" (TF also sells a 3" it looks like). Both are 4-link front and rear. Looks like the TF 3" and 4" dont include a rear track bar (looking at pics of the kits on their catalog). One thing I do like about the TF is the brackets. They will give you more ground clearance than the FT arms......which may or may not be a deal-breaker. But its a lot more work to install the TF kit. If you can do the work yourself, the price on the TF kits is appealing.

I have no ability nor interest in cutting and welding all those pieces to my Jeep.

I had thought that the FT had enjoyed "home field advantage" to a degree, but the more I learn about the TF, as well as other more complicated installs (RE for example)
the happier I am to be going with the FT 4"LA and having the "pro's" install it.

I'll post pics as soon as the damn thing starts morphing. I have been told this should be happening soon.
